The Saudi Al Arabiya network reported this morning (Friday) that the explosion that occurred yesterday in Yemen is attributed to an Israeli attack. According to them, Israel bombed depots of precision missiles and drones.
As published, yesterday it was reported that a loud explosion was heard in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen. The current event comes against the background of the Houthis' threats against Israel, which have sent missiles and explosive drones from Yemen towards Israel several times in recent weeks. Later on, the threats also included taking over ships in the Red Sea, which threatened the safety of ships carrying cargo and shipments to Israel.
Yesterday it was reported that the shipping company "ZIM" sent a message to its customers that following the threat from the Houthis to the safe passage in the Red Sea, the cruise and cargo ships will make a deviation from the original route in the Suez Canal. The move will cause a delay in the delivery of shipments to Israel.
In a message sent to customers, it is stated that "ZMP service will continue to serve all of its eastern and Israeli ports. Operations to and from these ports will continue while applying the highest regard to safety protocols essential to safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders."
