The IDF spokesman announced a short time ago that fighter jets of the Air Force began attacking Gaza, due to the violation of the cease-fire agreement by the Hamas organization.

Earlier in the morning, a red color alarm was activated in the Gaza Envelope as a result of firing into Israeli territory.

When the attacks began, the IDF spokesman announced: "Hamas violated the agreement and in addition fired at the territory of the State of Israel. The IDF renewed fire against the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

In another press release, it was stated: "IDF warplanes are now attacking targets of the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip."

Due to the resumption of hostilities, the Home Front Command published strict updated defense instructions that forbid the holding of studies and events in general around Gaza. At the same time, in some areas of the country, educational activities are allowed, provided that it is possible to reach a protected area during the defensive period defined by the Home Front Command.
