The IDF Confirms: Five Senior Hamas Officials Were Killed in Gaza

The IDF confirms that five senior Hamas officials were killed in the Gaza Strip, including Ahmed Ahandor, the commander of the Northern Brigade of the Gaza Strip and close to Sinwar.

Earlier today (Sunday), the terrorist organization Hamas announced that five senior Hamas officials had been eliminated, among them the commander of the northern Gaza division and the head of the terrorist organization's military operation in the past 15 years. Now the IDF has confirmed the five that have been eliminated and published new details about them. The five were eliminated before the ceasefire.

The IDF spokesperson and the Shin Bet spokesperson said: "The IDF and the Shin Bet eliminated five senior commanders of the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip; among the commanders who were eliminated - the commander of the Northern Gaza Brigade in Hamas, his deputy and the head of the military formation during the fighting in the Gaza Strip and before the ceasefire came into effect, IDF aircraft under the intelligence guidance of the Shin Bet and the Military Intelligence Directorate, has killed five senior commanders of the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip."

Senior Hamas officials who were eliminated

Ahmed Ahandor, who served as the commander of the northern division of the Gaza Strip in the terrorist organization Hamas. He was responsible for coordinating and managing all the terrorist activities of the terrorist organization Hamas in the northern area of the Gaza Strip, initiating, promoting, and approving terrorist activities and features including shooting attacks, explosives, and rocket fire against the residents of the State of Israel as well as directing attacks throughout Judea and Samaria. Ahandor was one of the leaders in the planning and execution of the murderous raid and massacre carried out by the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip on Saturday 10/7.

Iman Tsiam, who served as the head of the military formation in the terrorist organization Hamas for about 15 years. As part of his last position, Tsiam was responsible for the formation of the force, the management of the inventory of combat equipment, and the guidance and direction of all rocket launches by the terrorist organization Hamas into the State of Israel. Tsiam was a significant center of knowledge in the military arm of Hamas, and during the last significant rounds of fighting, he was trusted with the use of fire by Hamas, and the issuing of terrorist acts.

The deputy commander of the northern division was also eliminated

Vaal Rajab, deputy commander of the northern division of the Gaza Strip in the terrorist organization, also serves as a divisional operations officer. He served in the past as the commander of the Hamas police in the northern Gaza Strip and then as the commander of the Beit Lahia battalion. Considered a central figure in the brigade, connected to the battalion commanders.

Parsen Khalifa, a senior member of the West Bank headquarters of Hamas, and head of the Tulkarm Committee, served as an assistant, and he is a close associate of senior Hamas officials. He promoted and directed terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and the security forces. Recently he was involved in the development of terrorist squads in the Noor al-Shams refugee camp in Judea and Samaria. Khalifa was killed in an attack in which Ahmed Ahandor and Iman Tsiam were killed.

Rafat Salman, head of the combat aid system in the northern Gaza Strip, is a senior figure at the top of the Gaza City Brigade. In the past, Salman served as the deputy commander of the brigade, which makes him very knowledgeable in everything related to defensive assessments and attacks on Israeli territory. In his current role, he was a partner in planning the raid using para-gliders carried out by the Gaza City Brigade in the massacre that occurred on October 7. Salman was killed along with Andor Varjab.
