Several days after the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization announced the death of Hanna Katzir, last night she was released from captivity safe and sound.

Katzir was released last night, in the first round in which 13 Hostages were released. Today she celebrates her 77th birthday.

Katzir was kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7. Her husband, Rami, was murdered during the terrorist attack.

A few days ago, Abu Hamza, the spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades, issued the following false message: "We are announcing the death of the settler Hanna Katzir, whom we previously expressed our willingness to release - for humanitarian reasons - but the enemy's procrastination led to the loss of her life. In light of this message, we renew our approval to abdicate our responsibility towards the prisoners of our enemy in light of the barbaric and frenzied bombings. In every inch of the Gaza Strip."
