Public information efforts continue in the world, when yesterday afternoon more than 70 members of the British Parliament and members of the House of Lords, gathered to watch the screening of the horror film documenting the massacre by Hamas. A member of the conservative party: "It's terrible to witness what happened. The barbarism. The cruelty, it's real horror, an attempt to eliminate the Jewish community in the south."

The event was organized at the initiative of the Israeli Embassy in London and in cooperation with the Israel Parliamentary Group (APPG): in addition to many members of parliament from the conservative party, senior members of Labor, the leader of the Liberal Democrat Party, and the leader of the Scottish SNP party also came to the screening. The participation of the Liberal Democrats and the SNP was particularly important in light of their critical attitude towards Israel.

At the end of the screening, the members of parliament were stunned and remained in their chairs for long minutes. Some with tears in their eyes. After watching the screening, the chairman of the group, Bob Blackman (a member of the Conservative Party), said: "It is terrible to witness what happened. barbarism. The cruelty. Trying to kill as many people as possible. The screening actually brought home to us the brutality of Hamas in this terrible attack."

British Member of Parliament: "An attempt to literally eliminate the Jewish population"

Blackman continued: "The burned bodies and those who were burned alive, this is true terrorism. We must make sure that the evidence is available, and presented to anyone who tries to deny what happened; it was an attempt to literally eliminate the Jewish population in southern Israel." Senior Labor Party member Preet Gill also participated in the screening.

After the screening, she said: "What I saw was extremely difficult. People were busy with their personal affairs when suddenly they were slaughtered and murdered in cold blood in front of their families; in addition, the glorification of the murder and the celebrations that followed it were a difficult viewing experience."

The deputy ambassador of Israel in Great Britain, who was present at the event, Oren Marmorstein, concluded with his words: "When we witness the denial of the terrible events of October 7, it is our duty to all testify about the brutal crimes committed by the terrorist organization Hamas. This is not a war for land, this is a war for humanity.".

As it was published yesterday, the speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, toured the Gaza village and the Tzrifin base yesterday, together with the president of the Romanian parliament, Alfred-Robert Simonis, and a delegation of members of the Romanian House of Representatives who promised: "When I return to Romania, I will hold a special meeting of the two houses of parliament to show all the members of the parliament the photos and the video So that they can fight the terrorists' propaganda with the facts."
