The IDF Publishes the Names of Two Officers Who Fell in the Gaza Strip

The IDF authorizes the publication that Capt. (Ret.) Omri David, 27 years old, from Karmiel, and Capt. Yedidia Lev, 26 years old, from Tal Menashe, was killed yesterday in the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip. Two other fighters were seriously wounded.

Israel at war, the 40th day. The IDF allows the publication of the names of two IDF martyrs who fell in the battles in the northern Gaza Strip and whose families were notified.

Captain (res.) Omri Yosef David, 27 years old, from Karmiel, a deputy company commander in Battalion 9217, Brigade 12 (Negev Brigade), was killed in battle in the north of the Gaza Strip yesterday.

Captain Yedidya Asher Lev, 26 years old, Matal Menashe, a deputy company commander in the Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade, was killed yesterday in a battle in the north of the Gaza Strip.

His funeral will be held today (Wednesday) at 14:00, at the Shaked Civil Cemetery in Hinanit.

This brought the number of IDF martyrs in the war to 368.

Also, a combat officer from the 82nd Battalion, 7th Brigade, was seriously injured in the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip and an IDF fighter from the Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade, was seriously injured in the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.

In addition, an IDF fighter from Battalion 932, the Nahal Brigade, and a commander at the Military Engineering School, were seriously injured in the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.

The fighters were evacuated for hospital treatment, their families were informed.
