Drama in the UK: former prime minister appointed foreign minister

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak continues to make dramatic changes in the government, and after firing the Home Secretary, the Foreign Secretary will replace her with former Prime Minister David Cameron

After British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak fired Interior Minister Suella Braverman today after she attacked left-wing demonstrators in Britain who were supporters of Hamas, another dramatic change in the kingdom: when former Prime Minister David Cameron will be appointed Foreign Minister. The person who will be appointed Secretary of State for the Home Department in Braverman's place is James Calverley, the current Foreign Minister.

As announced, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak fired today the Minister of the Interior Suella Braverman who published an article in the Times newspaper in which she attacked the police for selective enforcement against the right-wing demonstrators, and now he continues with the changes in the government.

In an article she published in the Times newspaper published in Great Britain, she emphasized that the police in London give priority to the left-wing protesters over the right-wing ones. According to her: "Right-wing and nationalist demonstrators who behave aggressively are rightfully given a severe police response, but the same police ignore a pro-Palestinian crowd that behaves in almost the same way, even when they are clearly breaking the law." It was also said that the Minister of the Interior came out against the decision to hold a pro-Palestinian demonstration on Armistice Day.

Yesterday, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned the pro-Palestinian demonstrators who participated in a rally in London last night and clashed with police officers. In his words, he attacked the decision to hold the rally precisely on British Remembrance Day, which is held on the day when the armistice was agreed upon in the First World War.
