IDF forces attacked an armed terrorist cell in Lebanese territory

IDF forces attacked an armed terrorist cell in Lebanese territory, the IDF spokesman said this morning. As I recall, last night five civilians were injured in serious condition and another civilian was in critical condition by anti-tank fire from the direction of Hezbollah.

During the night (Sunday), IDF forces attacked an armed terrorist squad in Lebanese territory, the IDF spokesman said this morning.

The terrorist squad was armed and was identified in Lebanese territory in the Biranit area, IDF forces attacked them. A hit was detected and the squad was eliminated.

Earlier, an alert was activated in the Galilee area, and two mortar launches from Lebanese territory were detected that crossed into Israeli territory and fell in an open area without casualties. In response, the IDF attacked the sources of the fire with artillery.

As I recall, last night, an anti-tank fire was fired from the direction of Hezbollah towards the area of Moshav Dovev in the Upper Galilee, the fire hit civilian vehicles and seriously injured them. A fatally injured person and five other injured, employees of the Electric Company, were evacuated to Ziv Hospital in Safed.

Hezbollah took responsibility for the anti-tank fire, stating that it was carried out "in support of our brothers in the Gaza Strip". The IDF attacked the source of the fire.
