The chairman of the National Unity, Minister Benny Gantz, a member of the reduced cabinet, opposes in internal talks the demand that arises among a part of the public for the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a publication of Kan Reshet B.
According to the publication, Gantz told his people that this is not the time to change the prime minister in the midst of the fighting in the Gaza Strip. According to the people around him, Gantz said that the talk these days about replacing Netanyahu is "nothing less than a delusion." According to them, Gantz said that the time will come to engage in investigations and discussion about bearing responsibility, but now is not the time. Minister Gantz has expressed this position several times in recent times.
Gantz's words follow a demand from sections of the Israeli public who demand that Netanyahu resign even in the midst of the war due to his responsibility for the omission that brought about the terrible massacre on October 7. At the press conferences where many questions could be asked, there were journalists who demanded that Netanyahu take responsibility for the omission.
