Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi flew over the Gaza Strip this morning (Sunday) with the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and the commander of Squadron 100. During the flight, Halevi spoke with the commander of the Golani Brigade.
At the beginning of the flight, the brigade commander said to Halevi's plane: "Right now we are waving the flag of the number 1 brigade, and the flag of the number 1 country." When Halevi asked him how the people in the field were, the commander said that they were "Excellent. Fighting spirit, devotion to the mission, wanting to fight and ready to advance until victory."
Tell all your people - you are doing an important and excellent job," Halevi said in response. "Everyone is behind you, you have sharp eyes here from above, from the Air Force. The entire IDF is working for you to advance - until victory!"
