The European Parliament voted today on a proposal in support of Israel in its war against the terrorist organization Hamas and demanding that the captives in the Strip be freed. The proposal received sweeping, unprecedented support.

After the massacre in the south, the global shock at the inhuman actions of the Hamas terrorist organization, which reminded many of the scenes left behind by the Nazis, led Europe to stand alongside Israel and express sweeping, unprecedented support in its war against Hamas.

The European Parliament voted today (Thursday) in favor of a resolution condemning Hamas’ murderous attack and recognizing Israel’s right to defend itself. Parliament members also called for the release of all captives in the Gaza Strip. The proposal passed by a vote of 500-21, positioning the EU entirely on Israel’s side in the war.
