IDF Spokesman: We Sent a Message to the Families of 203 Abductees

In a statement to the media, the spokesperson revealed that IDF forces captured an exhausted terrorist en route to Gaza, and he is currently being interrogated by security forces. He also stated that the IDF continues its efforts to ensure readiness for the upcoming phases of the war.

On the 13th day of the conflict in Gaza, IDF Spokesperson, Major General Daniel Hagari, issued a statement this morning (Thursday), in which he said, "We have conveyed a message to 307 IDF casualties and 203 captives held in the Gaza Strip."

The spokesperson addressed the actions of the Air Force in Gaza and stated, "In the past few days, we targeted numerous terrorist infrastructures, with an emphasis on Shuja'iyya and Nuchba fighters. We eliminated the head of the People's Resistance Committee in Rafah, who was one of the leaders of terrorism in the region. IDF forces carried out extensive operations in the contact area. The purpose of these operations is to improve our situation on the front lines and gather information on the issue of captives and missing soldiers."

Statement by the IDF spokesman

The spokesperson revealed that yesterday, a captured and exhausted terrorist was apprehended on his way back to Gaza. He was captured and interrogated by Israeli security forces.

Regarding the events in the north, the spokesperson stated, "Israeli Air Force aircraft targeted Hezbollah's assets. The purpose of the attack is to disrupt Hezbollah's surveillance capabilities over Israeli territory. Any Hezbollah attack on Israeli territory will be met with a significant response from our side."

He also addressed the military's preparations for a ground incursion into the Gaza Strip, saying, "We continue our central effort to ensure the full operational readiness of our forces for the next stages of the war. We have transferred 50,000 storm suits, 100,000 heating packs, and 10,000 snowsuits."
