Egyptian President Abd el-Fatah a-Sisi met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in a press conference, where they discussed the war between Israel and Gaza and where a-Sisi made a particularly outlandish proposal: “If there is an idea of migration of Palestinians (from Gaza), there’s the Negev in Israel. Israel could move the Palestinians there until it ends its declared mission to eliminate the resistance and armed organizations of Hamas and Islamic Jihad and then return them to Gaza.” Thus, according to a report today by reporter Roey Kais (Kann 11 News).
A-Sisi further said: “If there is forced migration of the Palestinians to Egypt, then there will also be coerced migration of the Palestinians to Jordan, and thus the idea of the Palestinian state you are speaking of (a demilitarized state with international forces) will not be practical.”
“Transferring the Palestinians to Sinai means transferring the resistance to Sinai”
He later admitted that the organizations of Hamas and Islamic Jihad were carrying out terror attacks against Israel: “Transferring the Palestinians from Gaza to Sinai, this means we are transferring the idea of fighting and resistance to Sinai and thus Sinai will become the area where actions against Israel will be launched. In such a situation, Israel will have the right to self-defense and attack in Egyptian territory, a large country which kept the peace. Our great investment in peace must not dissipate for an idea which is impractical.”
