Biden Will Meet with Rachel of Ofakim

As part of his visit to Israel due to fighting in the south, Biden is expected to meet with Rachel of Ofakim, a popular figure who went viral after hosting the terrorists who took her and her family hostage for hours until security forces arrived. The President will also meet with other civilians who were involved in the battles and whose loved ones were killed or kidnapped.

Biden is expected to stay in Israel until 15:00, during which time he will meet with President Yitzhak Herzog and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. It was also reported that he will participate in the war cabinet meeting and meet with emergency teams on the Gaza Perimeter.
