Lebanese Border: A Terrorist Cell that Infiltrated Israel was Eliminated

A group of terrorists was identified approaching the border fence with Lebanon and concealing an explosive device. In response, the IDF opened fire on the group, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists.

The IDF thwarted a short while ago an infiltration attempt by a group of terrorists, who were identified by IDF surveillance approaching the security fence from Lebanese territory while carrying an explosive device. Four terrorists were killed.

This morning (Tuesday), the IDF targeted military objectives in Lebanese territory that were used for terrorist planning and the terrorist infrastructure of the Hezbollah organization. This action was in response to the shooting carried out towards Israel yesterday.

Yesterday, there was light weapons fire towards several IDF positions along the border with Lebanon. In addition, anti-tank fire was directed at a military tank; no injuries were reported among IDF forces. In response, the soldiers targeted the sources of the gunfire with artillery fire.

Earlier, it was reported about another incident of gunfire towards IDF forces from Lebanon, as reported by the IDF spokesperson. Additionally, it was reported that there were no casualties among our forces. In response to the gunfire, the IDF targeted the source of the shooting with artillery fire in Lebanese territory.
