The Price of Biden's Support: A Path to a Palestinian State

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, was interviewed by the American CBS network and began speaking a different language from what he used last week. He is calling for a price for unconditional support: a Palestinian state, and it would be a "serious mistake to take control of the Gaza Strip."

Ten days after the massacre in the south and the outbreak of the war, following unequivocal U.S. support for Israel on all fronts - political, economic, and security - the states begin to tally the cost.

Amichai Shtein, the political correspondent for KAN, published this morning (Monday) that President Joe Biden was interviewed by the CBS network, one of the major television networks in the United States, and said that he is "confident" that Israel is acting under the rules of war.

Biden then added that he believes Hamas must be completely eradicated, but simultaneously noted that there "must be a path to a Palestinian state."

Finally, Biden argued that if a scenario were to arise in which Israel reasserts control over the Gaza Strip, it would be a "grave mistake."
