Biden: "The Overwhelming Majority of Palestinians have Nothing to Do With It"

The President tweeted on his Twitter account that it is important not to overlook the fact that most of the Palestinian public is not connected to the Hamas terrorist attack on the communities in the Gaza periphery.

President of the United States, Joe Biden, tweeted today (Sunday) on his Twitter account that it is important to remember that most Palestinians are not connected to the murderous attack carried out by the Hamas terrorist organization.

In his tweet, Biden wrote that "we must not forget that most of the Palestinian population had no connection to the heinous attacks by Hamas, and they are suffering as a result of them."

Yesterday (Saturday), the President had a phone call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the fifth time since Hamas committed the horrendous massacre during the Simchat Torah holiday. During their conversation, Netanyahu thanked President Biden for the deep and unconditional American support for the State of Israel and its right to defend itself.

Netanyahu also expressed his gratitude for the visit to Israel by Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. Both leaders discussed the current situation with a focus on the southern region and more broadly. The Prime Minister acknowledged the broad and prompt security and intelligence assistance provided by the United States, expressing appreciation to the President.

Netanyahu also took President Biden on a tour along the border of the Gaza Strip, where they witnessed the horrors inflicted by Hamas on the communities in the vicinity. The Prime Minister emphasized the unity and determination to achieve the military objectives that have been set. Both leaders agreed to continue and maintain ongoing communication.
