Channel 14 host Shai Golden made a revolutionary proposal for the war, calling for a broadcast of unity in the literal sense: the TV schedule of all channels would be united into a single program.
Golden posted on his Facebook page that “Yesterday, a Jew wrote to me, proposing that we organize a joint broadcast for all four channels, to broadcast unity to all. A single studio, program, shared by channels 11, 12, 13, 14, even for an hour a day, broadcast at the same time on all channels.”
Golden so wanted this event to take place that he was willing to give up his own chair, continuing “I would even be happy to serve the tea in such a studio. Perhaps we should also have all media outlets find a way to demonstrate unity to the nation. Because the truth is that this is the sole condition for our renewal in this country. In this moment, I join this call whole-heartedly, and hope that all channel managers also establish a joint national emergency media.”
The veteran host tagged Kann – the Broadcast Corporation, Channel 13, N12, and Channel 14.
He ended with a request for sharing the post: “Please share, as much as possible. Perhaps a wave will form for the ears of all the managers and make them all create a media unity government.”
