From the Office of the Prime Minister, it has been reported on behalf of the official in charge of the captured and missing individuals, Brigadier General Gal Hirsch, that a dedicated team of approximately 200 reserve officers has been established to create direct and personal contact with the families of the missing individuals.

A family support team, led by Brigadier General Meir Kalifi from the official in charge of the captives and the missing, and Brigadier General Avner Paz-Tzuk on behalf of the IDF, has appointed approximately 200 reserve officers who have been appointed for this important mission. These officers will receive special training for the task and will meet with the families face to face. Nevertheless, the effort to obtain all information about the captives and the missing continues at all times, and it will not cease until each family receives an answer.

All contact arrangements will be made through the National Control Center for Assisting the Families of Captives and the Missing - 6754*.

"We will make an effort to ease the uncertainty"

The head of the Captives and Missing Persons Authority, Brigadier General Gal Hirsch, stated that "We will physically reach out to all the families of the missing to provide answers and establish personal contact. We have recruited senior and experienced officers and individuals for this important and sensitive mission, who are coming to assist the families during this time of uncertainty."

Brigadier General Avner Paz Tzuk, head of the mission team, added, "My mission and that of hundreds of senior and experienced individuals we recruited in the past days is to establish contact with the families of the missing, families whose loved ones have not returned home and their fate is still unknown. This is done in order to provide them with answers and to provide all the necessary information to establish contact with government agencies and the National Headquarters, alongside the 24/7 operational centers, which also provide assistance. Our team members have set out on their mission today, and they will be reaching out to the families of the missing throughout the weekend and in the coming days. My team and I, like the entire IDF, will make every effort to ease, even just a bit, the uncertainty that these families are experiencing during these challenging days."
