European support: Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced this morning (Thursday) that his country will halt all aid funds transferred to the Palestinians, in the aftermath of the war in the South and the Hamas attack. In his statement, he criticized the leader of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen, for not addressing the deadly attack that occurred in the South last Saturday, in which at least 1,300 people were killed.

"Abu Mazen's silence on Hamas's attack against Israel is shameful," said Scholz. "Israel has the right to defend itself from the barbaric attack. I am currently in close contact with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the Emir of Qatar, and the President of Turkey, Erdoğan, on this matter."

He also accused Iran of supporting Hamas and encouraging terrorism. "Although there is no proof that Iran supported the execution of the attack, it is clear that without Iran's support, Hamas could never have carried out this unprecedented attack," he clarified. According to him, "Iran is the one that enabled Hamas to become an organization that could carry out this terrorist attack in Israel."
