The war in the south. In recent days, the IDF, especially within Central Command, has bolstered its forces with many combat troops in all areas to protect the residents of Judea and Samaria and prevent terrorist incidents in the region.
The force is being reinforced and currently stands at more than 30 battalions and territorial defense battalions. These forces are deployed along the frontlines, in settlements, and on the border, operating openly and covertly around the clock, ready for any scenario.
So far, around 4,000 weapons have been approved and reinforced for the security forces in the communities across the Central Command, along with resources from various departments that are being distributed in these days, all in preparation for enhanced security for the residents.
Additionally, based on the assessment of the situation, emergency operation rooms have been activated within the Central Command, in the Judea and Samaria Division, and in the territorial brigades. These operation rooms are reinforced with the service of many experienced reservists who assist in managing the operations.
In parallel to the defense efforts, there is also an offensive operation to neutralize and arrest wanted individuals and Hamas operatives. So far, over 180 wanted individuals have been arrested, with more than 70 of them being affiliated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
