After an Israeli Attack; The Iranian Foreign Minister Fled Back

Reports in the Arabic media claim that Israel targeted objectives at the international airport in Damascus, Syria. The Iranian Foreign Minister returned to Iran after the attack.

The Arabic media reports that the Israeli Air Force has attacked a target or targets at the international airport in Damascus, Syria.

Reports from the past hour claim that Israeli aircraft targeted objectives at the international airport in Damascus. There is no official statement from the IDF on the matter, but the reports come after recurring tensions in the northern region, specifically in Syria.

Air traffic controllers report that following the Israeli Air Force's attack in Damascus, the plane of the Iranian Foreign Minister, who was en route to the region for meetings with Assad and Hezbollah officials, circled back and fled the area.

In flight documentation, it can be seen that the plane of the minister, which was en route directly to Damascus International Airport, circled moments after the attack and decided to fly back towards Iran.

The Prime Minister instructed the ministers not to address the attack in Syria during interviews.
