Israel's UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan strongly attacked the UN Human Rights Council. In an interview for FOX News, he called them "part of the terror machine."
He said this is "because when they make all these moral equations between liberal, law-abiding democracies, not only like Israel and others, it's easier for them to put pressure on us. They never deal or counter the real human rights violators."
He ended by saying "Once they pressure Israel, they're incentivizing the terrorists to continue, because that's their goal to delegitimize Israel."
Earlier it was reported that in light of the cessation of humanitarian supply into Gaza, UN Secretary-General António Guterres asked Israel to allow the introduction of fuel, food, and water into Gaza. He insisted that these essential "lifesaving" supplies flow without interruption. Guterres called on Israel and Hamas to access to UN teams, to provide humanitarian aid to what he called the trapped and helpless Palestinian citizens in Gaza.
In response, Minister Yisrael Katz said: "Not one fuel truck will go in until the Israeli captives return home, and no-one should lecture us about morality."
