Since the outbreak of the war, many countries around the world have expressed solidarity and support for Israel, and several of these supporting nations have illuminated famous buildings in blue and white colors.
For example, the White House was lit up in blue and white with a Star of David, and similarly, the City Hall building in New York. In France, the Eiffel Tower was illuminated in blue and white, with thousands singing "Hatikvah" at its base. In Brussels, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Britain, buildings were also lit in blue and white, and people took to the streets in demonstrations to show their support for Israel.
As a tribute to the many countries that expressed solidarity with Israel, on Wednesday evening, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs illuminated the front of the ministry's building with images of key sites around the world lit in blue and white following the events in the south. Among the prominent sites displayed were the White House, the Eiffel Tower, the Brandenburg Gate in Germany, and more.
In the center of the illuminated building, a large sign thanks the countries of the world for their unconditional support of the State of Israel.
