Southern Command Commander, Major General Yaron Finkelman, met with the soldiers in the field today (Wednesday) and informed them that there is no intention to stop the fighting.
According to Major General Finkelman: "This is the situation we are in now, with controlled territory and a strong defense, as you described and clarified for the most part. There may be more small incidents here, it happened because of the following things, and you will tell this and convey it to all the fighters."
He said, "Courage and supreme dedication of civilians, residents, soldiers, and commanders. We paid a heavy price for what they did, and what all of you did saved thousands more civilians, and we will continue to strike them. We've only just begun; we have no intention to stop, only to intensify. They are experiencing severe blows, and again, I say and emphasize, we've only just begun."
