The Gaza Public Diplomacy Office announced that it will run out of the diesel fuel needed to produce electricity today.

After Energy Minister Yisrael Katz announced that he instructed the Israeli authorities to cut off all supply of electricity and energy to the Strip, and after Defense Minister Gallant announced a complete siege of the Strip without any supplies of any kind, the Gaza Public Diplomacy Office reported that its supply of diesel fuel for electricity production will completely run out in a few hours.

Israel ended the direct electricity supply it provided to Gaza two days ago and closed the last water pipeline delivering water from Israel into Gaza. Gaza has a limited capacity to produce electricity from generators and diesel fueled power stations, but as noted, the Public Diplomacy Office stated that the latter will cease to operate today without fuel.
