The IDF announced this morning (Tuesday) that residents of the Gaza Strip should leave to Egypt via the Rafah border crossing, according to the IDF Spokesperson and the foreign press. Last night, the IDF struck more than 200 targets throughout the strip at Khan Younis and Rimal - the upscale neighborhood of Gaza city.

The strikes were conducted by dozens of combat aircraft of all kinds. Among others, the Air Force struck at the military infrastructure of terror organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Khan Younis, a Hamas weapons arsenal located in a mosque, and operational infrastructure which served Hamas terrorists.

The soldiers fought with bravery and determination, in order to restore control in the settlements and posts and seized large amounts of weapons in the possession of the terrorists, while evacuating the wounded who were hit."

The IDF Spokesperson added that during the last few days of fighting, soldiers of armored brigade 401, stopped dozens of terrorists on the Gaza Perimeter, evacuated many wounded, and helped to extract hostages in dozens of locations.
