Leader of the Ra'am party, Mansour Abbas, addresses terrorist organizations in Gaza and calls on them to release the women, children, and elderly individuals they have abducted, as this action contradicts Islamic values.
"I call on the leadership of the Palestinian factions in Gaza to release the captives in your hands," Abbas said a short while ago.
According to him, "Islamic values dictate that we should not imprison women, children, and the elderly. This humanitarian step is urgently needed."
Just a day after being appointed by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to head the office responsible for captives and missing persons, Colonel Gil Hirsch published his first statement a short while ago.
"Yesterday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu appointed me to the position responsible for captives and missing persons," Hirsch began.
According to him: "At this time, we are working on forming a complete situation assessment and putting in full effort to establish an effective system, a solution for all the anxious families regarding the fate of their loved ones. We are in the midst of a challenging war; the fighting is ongoing and will continue."
"We have lost our best sons and daughters; citizens, soldiers, members of the security forces, emergency responders, and many casualties. We have a large number of wounded, missing, and kidnapped individuals held by the enemy.
"The storm is great, and the heart is very pained. We have heavy tasks ahead of us, and I am with you in the effort to bring all the missing and kidnapped back home to Israel."
