Bnei Brak Hosts Southern Residents

An aid and hosting center was established in the city of Bnei Brak in a collaboration between Ichud Hatzalah and wedding halls propietor Rabbi Menachem Carmel. The center offers food, lodging, games, and activities for kids for a limited time or extended stay.

From wedding hall to resting space.

An absorption and hosting center has been opened up in Bnei Brak. The center was established and is being run by the Hatzalah organization in the Klil Malchut wedding halls, which are owned by businessman Rabbi Menachem Carmel.

The halls owned by Carmel were converted into an absorption and hosting center for residents of the south. A designated team was set up in the Rabbi's offices to handle the logistics of absorbing families from the South, as well as handling the hundreds of requests already received.

The team is collaborating with the Hatzalah organization for the sake of operating the center and moving as much logistical equipment and food as needed to absorb any family requiring assistance and provide them with the everything they would need for an extended stay.

Organizing rapidly, and alongside widespread deployment of stands and volunteers throughout the country to aid in cases of wartime and routine-related emergencies, Hatzalah opened the absorption and refreshment for residents of the Gaza perimeter and the south moving northward, either towards the country's center or further.
