Operation Swords of Iron continues. The IDF launched a nighttime wave of strikes against terrorists organizations in the Gaza Strip, hitting more than 500 strategic targets. Planes and helicopters, drones and artillery struck many hundreds of targets belonging to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip.

Among the targets hit were seven operational headquarters of Hamas and one belonging to Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The IDF also struck a number of multi-story buildings, one of which contained a Hamas military headquarters, where terror attacks against Israel were being coordinated.

A building used by a senior Hamas naval force commander for operational purposes was attacked. Three terror tunnels from the Beit Hanoun area were also destroyed as part of the escalating strikes.

Two operational assets of Hamas were also struck from the air, one of which was located in the heart of a mosque. An asset used by Palestinian Islamic Jihad located in a residential building where terrorists lived was struck.

The IDF spokesperson reported that the army would continue to strike powerfully in the Gaza Strip and mortally wound the terror organizations.
