The director of the School of the Arts in Tel Aviv, Udi Klein, who admitted to having sex with minors and is suspected of committing obscene acts, was brought in for questioning by the Israel Police.
After it was revealed in recent days that the director of the School of the Arts in Tel Aviv had illicit relationships with students at the school and had sexual relations with minors, and after he announced on his own initiative that he was familiar with the cases but claimed that "I did not do anything improper," the police today summoned the school director for questioning on the subject.
Klein, the 46-year-old who ran the School of the Arts in recent years and took an active part in the protest against the Legal Reform over the past few months, announced at the beginning of the week after the cases were revealed, that he had taken a self-initiated leave from his position. With the disclosure of the cases, the Israel Police opened an investigation under the crime-fighting unit of the Yarkon area.
Klein was summoned today for questioning under the suspicion of committing indecent acts with minors, at the end of his questioning, he was released to house arrest under restrictive conditions.
