Member of Knesset Zvi Sukkot just uploaded a photo last night in which he is seen together with his wife and Simcha Rothman, and wrote: "Moadim Lesimcha", he did not expect the wave of harsh reactions against his wife, just because of her head covering, when among other things one of the commenters wrote: What kind of wound does the girl next to you have that has a bandage like that? Didn't you hide some Ben-Uliel there?"
Another commenter wrote: "With a million percent certainty, this huge size on your wife's head puts unnecessary pressure on the spine. Why harming ourselves is a fashion." Another commenter wrote: "Where else does she want to go with the parachute on her head? Occupying a public space"
The religious Zionist party responded: "All red lines are crossed. The wife of a member of the Knesset is being humiliated on social media by protestors "in fault" for her headscarf and the heads of the opposition are silent. This is not a protest against the government but a show of hatred against Judaism and Israeli tradition." Knesset member Zvi Sukkot also responded by himself when he wrote: "After blowing up the Kol Nidrei prayer, ruining a holiday event for girls and ruining the possibility of broadcasting from a Sukkah on Channel 14, the enlightened liberals marked a new target - my wife's head covering. Haters of Judaism."
Harsh reactions were also written on the comment post, when one of the commenters wrote: "Whoever chooses to live her life with a terrorist who is ready to murder innocents deserves all condemnation. Jewish terrorism will be destroyed."
