An unusual event occurred today (Sunday) at the "Superland" amusement park in Rishon Lezion, the "Comba" roller coaster facility got stuck in the middle of the ride. The dozens of passengers who boarded the roller coaster remained in their seats hanging between heaven and earth motionless for long minutes.

The Superland reported that the malfunction apparently occurred as a result of a person, accidentally pressing the emergency button and causing the facility to stop. After a few minutes, the rig continued to operate and returned to driving.

The "Comba" roller coaster facility was opened in 2001 and is considered the largest and fastest roller coaster in Israel. The passengers sit while hanging under the rail, rise to a height of 34 meters - and then fall to the ground and travel through 5 loops at speeds of up to 100 km/h.
