A special and particularly moving meeting took place this week when, in honor of the Sukkot holiday, the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, invited the children of army personnel to a unique and interesting gathering in the sukkah in the Kirya.
The six children brought decorations with them, asked the Chief of Staff questions about his job, and shared their experiences of being the children of commanders who protect the country.
At the beginning of the meeting, the children shared where their parents serve. Then the Chief of Staff asked them about the decorations they brought to the sukkah and the things that help them when their parents are not at home due to their service.
