A 60-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in a car accident as a result of being hit by a vehicle on Route 411 near the Bilu complex. Medical teams that arrived on the scene gave him medical treatment and he was taken to Kaplan Hospital, conscious, with multiple systemic injuries.
Emergency medical medics at MDA Eden Sinai and Baruch Hershkovitz said: "The pedestrian was lying on the road suffering from bruises in all parts of his body after being hit by a vehicle, he was conscious and we immediately began to provide him with advanced medical treatment in the field which included dressings and administering medication and evacuated him in an intensive care vehicle to the hospital When his condition is stable."
Eliran Itzhaki and Dov Vider, medics at the United Hatzalah who treated the victim, described the scene: "When we arrived at the scene, we found the pedestrian lying on the floor, he suffered serious bruises on his head and lower limbs. Together with other medics, we gave him first aid and then he was taken to Kaplan Hospital in an intensive care van when his condition was determined at this stage as difficult."
