Against the background of the security alerts that come due to the holidays period and at a time when the security system is on high alert to, secure the travel areas visited by many citizens during the Holy Week, the security forces acted today (Thursday) to arrest wanted persons throughout Judea and Samaria.
During the arrests: disturbances and confessions of stones
In the joint operation of the IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police fighters, ten wanted persons were arrested in the city of Hebron and the villages of Al-Auja, Idhna, Bil'in, Salem, Kaubar, and Hizma. At the same time in the activity in the city of Qalqilya, suspects threw stones at the force which responded with measures to disperse the demonstrations.

During the operation in Halhul, the fighters arrested two wanted men, and located and confiscated an M-16 weapon, magazines, bullets, weapon parts, and military equipment. During the activity, suspects threw stones and blocks at the force, damage was caused to military vehicles.
In an activity in the village of Tubas, suspects shot at the force. Also, a number of suspects threw Molotov cocktails during the night at a military post near the settlement of Psagot in the Binyamin. A force of unit 636 that was in proactive activity on the spot identified the suspects and fired at them, two of the terrorists were hit. The wanted persons who were arrested and the means of warfare that were confiscated were transferred to the security forces for further treatment, there are no casualties to our forces.
