Five people were murdered in a violent incident in Basmat Tab'un. MDA's rescue teams treated them with different degrees of injury and finally had to pronounce them dead

Rehovot Adumim: Five people from the Arab sector were murdered today (Wednesday) in a violent incident in Basmat Tab'un. The rescue forces that arrived at the scene treated the victims who were defined in five different degrees of injury. 3 men and 2 women in their 30s, finally had to determine their death. Another injured person was taken to the hospital in moderate condition.

MDA paramedic Ofer Vinik said: "This is a very difficult incident. There was a lot of commotion there. 6 injured people suffered penetrating injuries in their bodies. We immediately started medical treatment, unfortunately 3 men and 2 women had no signs of life and we had to pronounce them dead. A 49-year-old man who was moderately injured was taken to the hospital in an MDA intensive care vehicle."

Earlier today, it was reported that a 50-year-old man was injured in a shooting incident on Israel Bar Yehuda road in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics found the wounded man without signs of life and had to pronounce him dead.

A senior medic at the MDA, Yishai Levy, said: "We saw the man lying unconscious with no pulse and no breathing and suffering from penetrating injuries to his body. We performed medical tests, but his injury was critical and we had to determine his death." Since the beginning of the year, approximately 188 people have been murdered in Arab society.
