Suspicion of murder in Haifa: a man of about 50 was shot dead

A 50-year-old man was injured in a shooting incident on Israel Bar Yehuda Road in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics had to determine his death. The police started investigating the incident

Today (Wednesday) a report was received at the MDA and Israel Police Center in the Carmel area, about a man injured in a shooting incident on Israel Bar-Yehuda Road in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics reported a 50-year-old man with no signs of life and pronounced him dead.

A senior medic at the MDA, Yishai Levy, said: "We saw the man lying unconscious with no pulse and no breathing and suffering from penetrating injuries to his body. We performed medical tests but his injury was critical and we had to pronounce him dead."

The police began an investigation and search for the perpetrators of the crime, alongside the collection of findings at the various scenes by the investigators of the Department of Forensic Science as part of the investigation of the incident.
