The Tel Aviv Municipality has announced that it has summoned the organization "Rosh Yehudi," which organized the prayers that were attacked by left-wing protesters during Yom Kippur. The municipality is considering revoking the organization's approval to hold prayers.
The Tel Aviv Municipality has announced that this evening (Tuesday), it has issued an invitation to a hearing for the "Rosh Yehudi" association. The hearing will address the possibility of revoking the permits granted to the association for holding events in public spaces within the city during the Sukkot holiday.
The announcement comes after a discussion held at the municipality in light of the events that took place on Yom Kippur. During these events, left-wing protesters attacked worshippers participating in prayer events organized by the organization and disrupted prayer gatherings throughout the city of Tel Aviv.
The municipality states in its announcement that the invitation to the hearing is based on "the violation of the municipality's guidelines and a court decision" by the association during the prayer events held in the city's public spaces on Yom Kippur, during which partitions with Israeli flags were erected between the worshipers.
