Tel Aviv: Foreign national stabbed in a violent incident, in critical condition.

A foreign national around the age of 30 was seriously injured last night (Tuesday) after being stabbed in a violent incident that unfolded on Hachai Street in Tel Aviv. Paramedics and first responders called to the scene provided initial medical treatment and transferred him to Ichilov Hospital while unconscious and intubated.

Upon initial police investigation, there is suspicion that the background to the incident is criminal in nature. Police forces arrived at the scene and began extensive searches concurrently with an investigation opened to examine the circumstances of the event.
