The Magen David Adom organization reports that during the fast, 3,025 people needed assistance and medical treatment.
During the fast, Magen David Adom paramedics and first responders were called upon to provide medical treatment to many cases. Approximately 295 individuals felt unwell as a result of fasting, and an additional 307 people were injured in various riding accidents during the fasting hours. These accidents included injuries sustained while riding bicycles, skateboards, and scooters. Among these cases, a 68-year-old man suffered severe injuries to his head when he slipped off his bicycle on Freud Street in Haifa.
37 people were injured in violent incidents that occurred throughout the country. Among them, two men were seriously injured in Tayibe and Kabul, who were taken to Meir Medical Center and Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, where their deaths were confirmed. Three others were seriously injured, four were moderately injured, and an additional 28 were injured in light condition.
A foreign cyclist was moderately injured during a bicycle ride when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 444 near Hagor, and 33 others sustained light injuries.
MDA teams also transported 170 women giving birth to the hospitals during the fast. 4 of the women giving birth were delivered by MDA teams.
