Large forces operated early in the morning in the Noor al-Shams refugee camp. During an exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed. One IDF soldier was moderately injured. Documentation from the activity in the heart of the refugee camp

IDF forces from the Egoz unit, Sayeret Golani, Yahalom unit, Combat Engineering Corps, the Border Police, and the Shin Bet, operated tonight in a brigade operation to counter terrorism in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the Menashe division.

The forces located a building and destroyed a room inside, that has been used for conducting combat. Observation devices, computers, and technological devices were located in the room. The forces located another room and in it, they destroyed dozens of ready-to-use charges, charges based on gas cylinders, and many components for making charges.

During the activity, IDF engineering tools operated in the area of the camp in order to uncover charges that had been planted under the camp roads. The tools revealed many charges that exploded, including at least one belly charge. The charges were prepared and planted ahead of time to strike the forces.

During the activity, suspects threw explosives and shot at the forces, who responded by shooting, injuries were detected. An IDF soldier was moderately injured by shrapnel. The soldier was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and his family was informed.
