A pair of tourists were killed on the beaches of Mexico after being struck by lightning during an unusual regional storm in the northern Mexican state of Michoacán.

An unusual lightning storm that hit the coast of Mexico left two dead, as a result of a direct lightning strike.

The event took place in the province of Michoacán. Tourists who came to vacation on the beaches of Aquila in northern Mexico were caught in an unusual lightning storm, a direct lightning strike killed two of them on the spot, the event was actually caught on the camera of one of the tourists.

In the documentation, you can see several people running on the beach trying to evacuate the area when lightning strikes them directly, and both are killed on the spot.

The two dead were a man and a woman who were there as part of a holiday when the lightning storm struck in a rare manner near the coast.

The Mexican authorities expressed their condolences for the death of the tourists in the incident.
