The National Unity faction, led by MK Benny Gantz, held a seminar last month in the Maccabiah Village, during which Gantz raised the possibility of joining the Netanyahu government.
According to the report by Zeev Kam on KAN News, in the discussion on the first topic, Gantz asked to summarize the summer session of the Knesset, the approval of the Clause of Reasonability Law, which was approved shortly before, and the question of "Where is the legal reform going?".
Afterwards, Gantz raised the question of what would happen if in the future the party was asked to join the government, against the background of the security situation, and in light of the public emergency atmosphere.
At a certain point, Gantz held a round among the MKs and asked to hear the opinion of each of them. During the discussion, some members of the faction asked not to dismiss the possibility outright and to leave a chance for a similar move.
