After it was announced this morning (Monday) that the crossings from the Gaza Strip to Israel were blocked due to the riots of the Arabs at the border, in the last few hours the Arabs rioted again and the IDF reported a violent disturbance that took place near the border fence.

In the event, several cases of activation of explosives by the terrorists were identified, and the IDF forces in response, conducted in the field and acted against the violent violation of the order by means of dispersing demonstrations. The IDF stated that there were no casualties to our forces.

In the last week: the terrorists returned to riot at the border of the Gaza Strip

It should be noted that last week the riots by the Arabs at the border fence returned, and they include burning tires, placing explosives, and in one case also shooting at IDF positions. The IDF's position - similar to the incident in which Amit Ben Yigal was killed about two years ago.

As mentioned today, in response to the riot, the IDF announced that the Erez crossing where the Arab workers cross towards Israel, will continue to be closed and will not be opened despite the end of the holiday.
