Traffic Jams on the Holiday

The Israel Police warns of a series of congestion and traffic jams that are expected to occur on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, and also warns of congestion during the holiday itself

Ahead of the eve of Rosh Hashanah, which is happening tomorrow (Friday), the Israel Police published a notice in which they warned about the expected traffic loads and congestion that are anticipated to occur tomorrow, along with the areas where they are expected to take place.

The police stated that due to the heavy traffic and the large number of vehicles expected to be on the road on the eve of the holiday, the police will enhance traffic enforcement at several points. They also provided a list of roads and highways where significant congestion is expected during the holiday.

The police warned of a series of roads that are expected to suffer from significant congestion on the eve of the holiday, including:

Highway 85 and Highway 90 at the Amiad Junction

Highway 77 HaMovil - Golani

Highway 6 Eron - Tel Kashish

Highway 65 Umm al-Fahm - Eron

Highway 2 Netanya - Olga

Highway 4 Ra'anana - Hadera

Highway 20 Glilot - Shfayim

Highway 1 Beit HaArava - Mishor Adumim

Highway 60 HaMinharot - Elazar

Highway 60 Efrat - HaMinharot

Highway 4 Ashdod - Ashkelon
