Hili Tropper admits for the first time: "I made a bitter mistake"

Hili Trooper admits that he was wrong when he tried to calm down his friends after the last election: "I told them to calm down; I made a bitter mistake"

Member of Knesset Hili Tropper from the state camp, admits that he was wrong when he tried to reassure his friends after the elections. In an interview with the program 'People' on Keshet 12, Tropper said: "I was wrong. When we lost the elections, all my friends were terribly worried about the extreme government. I told them: "Let go, when they enter the government and understand how it works, they will calm down. I made a bitter mistake."

Tropper explained: "I think what happened to them, they won a great victory in the elections, their hearts were filled with hope, and hope is a lovely thing but it can also lead you to hubris. And you hear Yariv Levin's say: 'I won't stop for a second.' and that rolled us down the stairs and all of us together."
