Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu paid tribute to his friend, the late singer Dedi Graucher, who passed away this evening (Monday) after a long illness with a serious illness.
Netanyahu began by saying: "My wife Sarah, Yair, Avner and I, mourn the passing of our beloved friend Dedi Graucher, the late. Dedi was a true embodiment of love for Israel. He made people happy with his unique talent to light up hearts, to make people laugh.
"Dedi accompanied our children on their journey of growing up. He was with us in moments of joy and sorrow. When he would just enter the room, a wide smile would spread across our faces. Who didn't love Daddy. The good soul and the light that radiated from him."
The Prime Minister added: "We are crying tonight with Malka and the children - Tziporah Miriam, Michal Hana, Shira, Shani Yaffa, Shai Meir, Avraham Elimelech, Natan Yair, Renana Zahva, Yaakov Dov, Aviel - and with the countless loved ones of this good and wonderful man. Our family lost a dear friend tonight who we will never forget."
Moshe Lion eulogized "He was a man of the people, a true love of people"
The mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion, who said that he studied together with Graucher at school, also paid tribute: "I am shocked and saddened by the untimely death of my good friend, the late Dedi Graucher." We grew up together in the same class at Emunim school in Givatayim and experienced beautiful years of growing up together. We had many points of connection. We both loved singing and acting, Dedi took it far and got far."
Leon added: "I will never forget his mischievous and good vibe, his love to make people happy and laugh, his ability to connect with everyone, and his endless giving. Dedi was a man of the people, knew how to be a good friend, and was an inexhaustible source of friendship, never ending practicality, and true human love."
