Another stop on the diplomatic visit: Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will be visiting the United States next week, marking his first visit since returning to the helm of the government last December. Netanyahu's visit comes amid tensions with the American government following the legal reform and recent statements made by members of the government in recent months.
According to the Prime Minister's Office announcement, Netanyahu will begin his visit next Sunday in Silicon Valley, California, where he is expected to meet with leading figures in the field of AI to promote business deals in the sector. Additionally, it has been reported by Channel 12 News that Netanyahu will meet, among others, with the CEO of Tesla and Twitter, Elon Musk.
On Tuesday, Netanyahu will arrive in New York, where he will participate in the annual United Nations General Assembly. During his time there, he is expected to hold meetings with numerous world leaders and address the assembly on September 21st.
However, the official schedule from the Prime Minister's Office indicates that Netanyahu will not make his way to Washington at the end of his trip. This confirms that the expected meeting with US President Joe Biden will take place in New York and not at the White House. Netanyahu will return to Israel on Saturday evening, shortly before the start of Yom Kippur.
