The Minister of National Security and Prime Minister Netanyahu met ahead of the government meeting to discuss security threats during the holidays. During an exceptional meeting, they separately discussed the conditions of the terrorists, the security prisoners in Israeli prisons.

The Prime Minister and the Minister of National Security met face-to-face for an unusual meeting on the issue of worsening the conditions of security prisoners, the meeting comes against the backdrop of Ben-Gvir's demand in recent weeks from the IPS Commissioner and other enforcement agencies to worsen the conditions of imprisonment of security prisoners in a number of ways.

The meeting comes before a discussion of estimates for the Tishrei holidays led by the Prime Minister and with the participation of the heads of the security system. During the meeting, Ben-Gvir asked the Prime Minister to adopt his position as Minister of National Security on the issue of worsening the conditions of prisoners.
